Ashley Hugh Stewart

Meet Ashley

Ashley Hugh Stewart (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the states of Florida and Georgia. She has worked and volunteered for community agencies for several years. Ashley studied psychology and life/biomedical sciences at the University of Central Florida and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an Education Minor. Further developing her passion, she completed a Master in Social Work degree at the University of South Florida. Ashley is currently acquiring her PhD in Depth Psychology with a specialization in Integrative Therapy and Healing Practices.

Ashley has a passion for advocating for minorities and the LGBTQIA+ community in regard to the various mental health and health care disparities present. She integrates a Depth Psychology lens to healing for individuals who are interested in a transpersonal approach to mental health care.

Ashley has a background in working in dependency, group therapy, inpatient mental health and substance abuse prevention, inpatient/outpatient medical social work, and community health centers. She also is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has actively engaged in consultation to complete her certification. Ashley places an eclectic approach to EMDR allowing quality services to be provided via telehealth.

Ashley was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and lived in North Carolina for a few years before moving to Florida in 2004. She lived in the Tampa Bay area since 2012 and enjoyed exploring local events, places and food. She loves to travel and expand her knowledge/growth on an interpersonal and intrapersonal level. This love sparked a transition for Ashley to reside in Atlanta, Georgia in 2021 for expansion and further exploration.
